Production Supervisor – 2nd & 3rd Shift Openings

📍 Location: Greater Cedar Valley Region, IA

💰 Salary: $75,000–$85,000/year

🕒 Shifts Available: 1 Second Shift | 2 Third Shift

About the Role:

Ashton North is hiring three full-time Production Supervisors for a well-established manufacturer in the Waterloo, IA area. These positions are ideal for hands-on leaders with experience in final assembly or welding environments. You’ll work directly with the Director of Operations and Production Manager to ensure safety, quality, and productivity across your shift—while spending up to 50% of your time actively engaged in floor operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, schedule, and assign production personnel to meet daily output targets
• Monitor workflow, quality, and safety in your department
• Act as quality inspector and safety coordinator for your area
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
• Maintain production documentation and reporting
• Ensure materials, tools, and resources are available to meet production needs
• Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
• Enforce company policies and procedures while fostering team collaboration

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Final assembly or welding experience a strong plus
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Solid problem-solving, quality, and safety awareness
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift
